27 November 2025

The Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice was featured at the Legal Tech Forum 2025 in Bologna, where Lodovica Raparelli, Head of Research and Projects at the Institute, spoke about how the Institute is using artificial intelligence to advance access to justice and support judicial innovation worldwide.

During her presentation, Lodovica highlighted a range of the Institute’s initiatives, including the development of AI chatbots designed to support women and girls in Africa, as well as open-source tools that map how courts around the world are adopting AI. Her remarks illustrated how technology can be used to expand access to justice while pushing the boundaries of international law.

The Forum’s AI Edition brought together lawyers, researchers, technologists, founders, and policymakers to examine the implications of AI for the future of the legal profession. The event provided a dynamic space for exchange, collaboration, and forward-looking discussion.

The Institute extends its thanks to Legal Tech Italy and the event’s organisers for creating a vibrant platform for dialogue and innovation, and for fostering a growing community at the intersection of law and technology.
