The Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice's work was highlighted on the global stage last week at the OECD Forum on Gender Equality in Paris, during a high-level session titled "Driving women's empowerment with AI-enabled public services."
In her remarks, Åsa Regnér, UNESCO Deputy Director-General, spoke about the challenge of legal representation in Malawi and highlighted the Institute's work in developing AI-powered solutions to help expand access to justice for women.
The recognition reflects growing international interest in how AI can make public services more inclusive, and reinforces the Institute's ongoing commitment to contributing evidence, innovation, and practical solutions that put people, and especially women, at the centre of this work.
The full session can be viewed here, with the mention of the Institute's work beginning around the 00:56 mark.
