Harriet Moynihan speaks at launch of ICC OTP Policy on 'Cyber-Enabled Crimes under the Rome Statute'

Harriet Moynihan, our Head of Accountability in International Law, spoke at the launch of the ICC Office of the Prosecutor's policy on 'Cyber-Enabled Crimes under the Rome Statute' at the World Forum in The Hague. Harriet spoke about the importance of accountability for cyber-enabled international crimes, and the important role of the new ICC policy in that. Harriet also discussed the significance of networks between actors in the effective investigation and prosecution of cyber-enabled international crimes. Finally, Harriet highlighted some of the intersections between ordinary cybercrime and cyber-enabled international crimes in terms of pathways to evidence, investigatory techniques and capacity building.
