NUS Webinar - Legal Accountability for Malicious Cyber Operations

Professor Philippa Webb and Harriet Moynihan spoke at a webinar co-hosted by the Oxford Institute of Technology and Justice and the Center for International Law at the National University of Singapore on 'Legal Accountability for Malicious Cyber Operations'.

The webinar was attended by over 150 participants from governments, the private sector and civil society worldwide, with many participants coming from the Asia region. Elaborating on themes in the Institute's recently published Policy Brief, Professor Webb and Harriet Moynihan discussed the means available for States to settle international cyber disputes; whether international courts are ready to adjudicate such disputes; the prosecution of cybercrime and cyber-enabled international crimes; and the role of new treaties in this area, such as the UN Convention against Cybercrime.'
